Bath and Body Works!!





What is the company's mission? What are the three most important goals?
Bath and Body Works is focused on creating the best products using fragrant flavorful indulges. Their goal is to become the ultimate personal care destination.

Why was the company created?
Bath and Body Works is focused to create and offer the best product and show innovation from nature.



Describe the product and services.
It has diverse range of products, which includes, shower gels, lotions, candles, accessories, and hair products. They also have, make-up, anti-bacterial hand soap, oil warmers, aromatherapy, bubble baths and more!

Who is your target market?
My market is targeted towards women from pre-teen, teen, adult, and beyond.

How do you believe you are perceived by your audience?
People look to this company during holidays especially, to purchase gifts. They make it easy for people to find the scent they are looking for.

What is your competitive advantage? Why would customers choose this product over others?
The advantage is that many people know about this company and many times it is used during the holidays to purchase gifts. It has a large number of variations to choose from to satisfy everyone's taste and mood.








Who is your competition? Is there one that you admire?
The main competition is The Body Shop International, Avon Products, Mary Kay, and Estee Lauder. I think Victoria's Secret lotions are a competition as well.

What are trends or changes that effect your industry?
I can't really think of things that change that effect it. I guess during the holidays they become more popular since people buy their products as gifts, and also they have sales to attract customers.

Where do you believe you will be in five or ten years?
I believe that the company will have the same status in 5-10 years, maybe even more successful.

If you can communicate a single message about the company, what would it be?
Bath and Body Works is committed to helping consumers improve their emotional and physical being. They have combined, spa treatment that can be used at home as well as using scents and natural ingredients to create a sense of beauty and well-being.

Attain information about the history of the company.
Bath and Body Works is a store that was founded in 1990, in New Albany, Ohio. It specializes in lotions, bath items, personal care items, and home fragrances.


I PLAN TO REBRAND THE LOOK AND FEEL OF THE PRODUCTS SO THAT THE COMSUMER WILL NOT ONLY GO THERE FOR THE LOTIONS, BUT ALSO THE PACKAGING IT COMES IN.

nice choice. considering bath and body is such a popular store featuring nothing but, well, beauty products, you would think their packaging would be a little better! currently, its very standard and plain.

good choice.

I agree good choice. I think their designs are pretty plain and there isn't much variation from product to product. My mom has some of their soap and I was looking at that and the design was very boring. I think their design could be much improved and more reflect the quality of their name.

I don't think their designs are that bad. I like going in there because of all their colors and different products. Their designs are somewhat plain, but I don't think they're bad. It will be cool to see what you come up with though.- can't wait!

I agree w/ deisy. It may look plain but it's very simple and fun to look at. But they could use a new look for their bottles. It been the same design for awhile.

yea, i think if you could change it to something that big strong men like myself, when we go in there during the holidays dont feel like wussies buying stuff for our girlfriends. i dont know, the store seems a little over the top for me and i guess i dont shop there.. but i think it sounds like a good idea to bring the actual gift box or set into the realm of being reused or multi-purposed.

hey!! I think Bath & Body works are not that bad looking but maybe a different look will make their products stand out more! I still prefer Victoria Secret over them though!! ; )

I like this idea, i think it will be interesting to pull this one off. They have a pretty elegant foil based design already

They have some pretty neat designs already. The shape of their lotion bottles are pretty adorable. This may be a bit hard but you can do it! ^_^

BTW. They recently changed their antibacterial bottles where the squirting spout is huge. I thought it looked absolutely TERRIBLE. -_- There's definitely room for improvements. :)

I don't this it's great design but I also don't think it's all that bad considering what kind of people they bring in and what price range they fall under. It fits- it's a look they've maintained. BUT I think it can look better so I would like to see what can be done. How bout a bolder appeal to bring in both genders- since I'm pretty sure women are the main buyers of the product.

This would be a challenging product to redesign. I think this packaging design fits its target audience already.
