Long time no sees.

Wow. May must have been the last time I posted something on this thing. I didn't think I would miss it but I do.

What have I been up to since I graduated? Everyone seems to want to know. Well, I had decided to only take the summer off, but thanks to this economy and my lack of motivation, it lasted way longer than it was supposed to. It is not end of October and still I have no job. But luckily, my business cards came and my website www.lucineh.com is almost done! I've been applying almost everywhere and started networking a little bit. On friday, I had an interview for an internship and it went fairly well. Crossing my fingers for some good news! I would love to get started really soon and get busy! I miss being swamped all the time.

My summer has been super packed! Here are some of the things I got to do while on my break. Went on a road trip with Z, Dave and Grace to see TOOL in Phoenix, Arizona, I performed a Spanish ballet, San Diego trip w/ bf and friends, my 80's birthday party, got an amazing massage, an iMac and an ipod touch for my birthday! <3 dance and guitar classes, started going to the gym, had many lunch dates with friends I hadn't seen for a few months, got a blackberry smart phone, Anush's baby shower and her newborn baby Andre, Danny and Maria's 70's shower and wedding, Spark events, finally saw LOVE at Vegas, gambled a little bit, and I carved a pumpkin for the first time. So, I should complain too very much.

Today, I did a 5k race that benefits pancreatic cancer research. I feel very proud to have been able to help out in my own way. This is the first time I ever did something like this. It has motivated me to look for the finish line and push to get there in an effort to make a difference in the process. After finishing, all the hard work seems to pay off and it kind of shows that it wasn't as bad as you thought at the time.
