I decided to design a logo for a country radio station 105.1fm KKGO. I have a few logos that I like. There is different variations on them. As of now, I am still unsure as to which one of these I am going to choose for my final logo.
The radio station logos are very fun and playful. I like the horn idea and the cactus idea also. I think number 8 is working well. It is simple but to the point. The other logos reminds me of bqq sauce label. But i might be wrong about that. Number 8 give is a country feel with a bit of a modern twist to it. Justin B
All of these designs are great. But the one that stood out to me is #11. I think the use of the frequency between the bull horns is very clever. I also like the font used for 105.1. The slab serif works very well with the country theme and the placement of 105.1 is nicely done too. This actually look like something I would see in Nashville.
#5 stuck out the most for me. I think it is nearly done save a few possible changes. The "go country 105" seems trapped in its current location. Try setting it straight horizontal and below the sun (move the sun to the top of the arch).
hmm...interesting. First, why didn't you choose Berlin? It a great location. Ok, now to the radio station logo. I really like the concept of the type in the shape. It gives your logo a bold outlook and strong presence. It also says country. At the same time I like the wave icon because it relates more to the modern day audience. Try merging the wave icon with the left side icons. But when you attempt this fusion, make sure to not make it look like the doritos logo.
HI LUCY! :) i favor #5 & #11..i do agree with nick about swaping the location of the "go country 105" and the top of the sun...i like the simplicity of #11 and how the type stlye creates a 3D look. and as for all the other logos with the horns, i feel each element looks separated compared to #11! :) overall, nice job!!
Number 1 and number 7 feel the most country to me. Excellent choice of typeface and color. I don't really dig the wave between the horns idea, only because its been done so many times before in other applications.
You really good ideas, but I think everything is too vector and clean. I feel like country should be more dirty. Maybe not have too clean of lines and shapes.
I like ideas 1-5 the most. Some are too simple and the others are to detailed. Try to find a middle ground.
i like the middle column a lot. they are all really good and look really country, but i like the radio waves and cactus in the middle one and how they merged together really well faith
I think the best logo is 11, it's simple and the station number is easy to read, it stands out. Maybe put less of the those peaks in the sound wave shape, if you want to simplify it even more. Also you can try make the mouth of the head using the KKGO.
Hi Lucineh, :) I like all of your logos. They are all very creative and unique. I like #7 the most but I wonder how it would look if you make it smaller. I'm not sure if the type will be readable still. After that I like #11. Well designed. Well balanced! Good job overall. :)
I think that you should stick with the bolder icons/logos because they are more legible. I like your concept for the second column though. ^^
The font on 12 and 13 aren't working because they are hard to read. I think that you should work on the first column but also add elements from the other columns instead of having the bull horns... maybe use the cactus instead?
I think they all look good but the one that caught my attention was #11. The one thing I might try is probably the type choice for the words "Go Country 105." Overall, it looks good so far. =)
These are really cool designs. The one I like most is No.2. This one makes me feel and image that kind of mood. The cactus ones are cool, too. But No.2 really has a west-life cultural look. Nice job!

I liked the ones with the outlined shape especially #3. I think it looks interesting and engaging, I liked the colors also.

Did you try shrinking the logos in row 2?

1st vertical row:
the curved type and the space in the middle needs something.
2 vertical row:
not working. too spread out. too many elements of equal emphasis. type too small when logo is scaled down
3rd vertical row:
too wide. #11 works. type is bold and legible. work with this one to finalize
These are really cool designs. The one I like most is No.2. This one makes me feel and image that kind of mood. The cactus ones are cool, too. But No.2 really has a west-life cultural look. Nice job!
