Rah Rah!

Hello people of the internet.
I feel bad that I have not been updating my blog more frequently. My not so new, new years resolution is to post my stuff on here more than once every 2 months. Even though, I don't think anyone reads it... :/ Oh well!

So, here's what's new..

I got a job. YAY! LOL
Finally, right? It's at a company called "Krkyan" .. yeah, I had to put it in quotations. The business used to be called, LA City Businesses. So ya. I'm not sure what my position is officially called, but I will call myself the graphic designer. LOL. I pretty much work on designing business cards, brochures, postcards, logos, signs and banners for local businesses around North Hollywood area.
That is all.
So, yesterday while I was on my lunch break, I came across something that I see almost on a daily basis yet never really payed too much attention to. The garbage truck. Now, I know what you're thinking.. why is she blogging about garbage trucks? It is because, after the super bowl game, a show aired on CBS called Undercover BOSS. Thinking it was an interesting show, my boyfriend and I decided to watch it. Basically, the CEO or president of a company goes under cover to the front line of their business to get a first hand inside scoop and then later try to do something about it. I'm very glad we watched, because it was very entertaining. The premier episode was about Waste Management company, so you can imagine how many time I saw their logo throughout the show. Now, I came across this truck...

Without even thinking, I immediately thought about the show and Waste Management. However, this was Millennium Waste, Inc. Now, you may think.. so what's wrong with that? Here is the truck of Waste Management.. [which by the way I ran into both of them on my lunch break. lol]

I just found it really funny that the 2 logos are almost identical. One is a WM and the other MW. The colors of the truck are similar as well. So which came first, the chicken or the egg? LOL just kidding. :]~
