A few weeks/months ago, I was on amazon searching for a book to buy for my boyfriend and one for myself. Expanding my library is one of my goals after graduating. I want to buy as much inspirational books possible. When I was still in school, that's what every professor would preach about and I definitely agree with them.
"Caffeine for the Creative Mind" is a book I saw at Barnes n Noble a few days ago.. It's pretty much for people who have a creative block going on. C'mon, it happens to the best of us. They have different exercises in there that help get your creative juices flowing with design, photography, writing, and even idea kindling. In the intro it talks about how you need to train your brain to think creatively as if you train your body to run a marathon. I never thought of creativity that way. I always thought that it was something you were born with or that came to people naturally. Although that is true to some extent, I do believe that exercising your brain will help a great deal as well. So, I bought it. And here I am blogging about it and recommending everyone to go out n purchase this book as well.
PS. I will try to update my blog with any exercises I do from here. :]
That is all.
Thank you for reading.

Maybe the author of "Caffeine for the Creative Mind" should pay you a portion of what he/she receives because you got me wanting to check it out. As a Creative Writing major, I know that sometimes I get writer's block. It's tough when I've got papers due the next day and haven't been able to write anything for the past week. Thanks for your recommendation. Maybe this book will actually help me out! :)
