I think they the new logo of Kraft foods is very weak compared to the strong bold logo they used to have. It almost looks like a generic store brand logo. I'm disappointed!!!
I'm not sure why all these big brands are changing their logos to horrible, cheap looking ones. What's with all these "smiles" on logos now-a-days? It seems to me that they're hiding something behind those smiles. Maybe because of this economy, corporations are refusing to pay big dollars for their logos so they are getting similar work in return. But I say why redesign anyway? What was wrong with the original?? Gah.. this pisses me off. It almost looks like the logo for Walmart. Don't get me started on the tagline. LOL The only thing positive I can say about it is that I like the font for "kraft". Thats it.

interesting. i wonder what it would look like on packaging as the kraft logo is so prominent on their products. everyone is going with the lower case minimal look. i think we have finally gotten over this and it truly is the look of the 2000's. thanks web 2.0
I agree with Joe. Everyone's hopping onto the "going back to the basics" theme bandwagon. I first noticed this with Pepsi. I'm not a fan of the new Kraft logo either, but I do like the tagline.
